The aim of the association “AGLF” is to develop and promote, between Louisiana – USA and the department of Gironde – France, multilateral exchanges of ideas, knowledge, techniques and experiences in various fields such as culture, education and society.

To do so, AGLF would like to establish, between its own members, links of friendship and cooperation in order to:

• Organize cultural and linguistic exchanges between French and Cajun American families, in the state of Louisiana.
• Participate in the renewal of French language in the French Immersion Programs in Louisiana.
• Organize parties, conferences, exhibitions or participate to cultural markets to promote the association.
